Cheque Presentation to Severn Hospice

On 27th August 2026 Kelly Holland presented a cheque for £600 to the Severn Hospice. She was accompanied by Jane Nicholls of Nova Badminton Club, and Sue Rutter from Boughey Gardens Tennis Club. 

Andy's wife Kelly continues to raise money and is to run the London Marathon next year raising money for pancreatic cancer.

Andy was also a member of Boughey Gardens Tennis Club and it was fitting that this year we arranged a  Badminton Club vs Tennis Club rounders match raising money for the Severn Hospice in his memory. Four teams (51 players) competed with the Tennis club winning on the day. A total of £600 was raised by the players. 

Following the passing of long term member Andy Holland ealier this year, the club raised £285 in his name for Pancreatic Cancer at our 21st celebration party. Andy was such a lovely person and we will all miss him.
