Ladder Tournament Rules – April 2026

Dates

Commencing 9th April with last League Ladder match night on the 28th May. 

Finals Night 11th June - 2 Courts will be used,

Drawing

Your peg is placed into the draw and matches are drawn at 8.00pm on the club night from players present.

8 players have been seeded and cannot play together on the same side.

You can't play with the same person more than once during a ladder league match.

If there is an uneven number for that evening matches, those who miss out will be guaranteed to play the following week.

Scoring

Your first 6 ladder matches will be used for your points score. You can play more matches, but these will not count for your league position. 

Your match score is entered onto the results sheet present each night. This is updated to the website and league table will be visible also.

Matches are played to 21 points, first to 21 wins. No tie break beyond this point. 

Ladder position is based on number of wins followed by points difference:

Win 2 points 

Lose 1 points

Finals

The Top 16 in the league will go forward to the Finals night. 

On the 4th June the draw for the Finals night 11th June will be announced. You will stay with the partner drawn with until the end. 

Anyone not present on the Finals night will be replaced from the reserve list taken from the ladder table i.e. 17th position would be first reserve.

Quater Finals will be one match to 21 with 2 clear points or the first to 25 points.

Semi Finals and the Finals will be best of 3 games to 21 with 2 clear points or the first to 25 points.
