2025 WINTER LADDER

********  UPDATED RULES 10th JAN 2025 ********** 

The ladder is open to all Nova players. It starts 9 January 2025 and ends 27 February

• When you arrive each week, add your name to the list if you want to play
• At 8.00 matches will be drawn by a committee member/ Dave Wilcox and then players manage their own games
• Those games are only played that night and don’t carry over
• At the end of the 8 weeks, the players best 6 games are scored

Scoring 

3 points for a win

2 points if you lost and scored over 10 

1 point if you lost and scored less than 10 

The players are then ranked according to their score.

The ladder positions will then be available on club night on the 6th March.

Quarter Night

To be held on 13 March

Matches determined by league position. If someone does not turn up, the highest ranking player  position 17 onwards will replace them. Note, you stay with your partner to finals night. Again, in  the case of non-attendance, a reserve will take your place. 

Players 1&9 v Players 7&15

Players 2&10 v Players 8&16

Players 3&11 v Players 5&13

Players 4&12 v Players 6&14

Semi Final and Final Night

These will be held on 20 March 

Matches will be drawn and played on that night at 8.

If a player doesn’t show up a substitute will be used. This will be the highest ranked league player from who didn’t play in the knockout stages.
