Whilst the social section organise events outside badminton (which in some cases are open to both members and non members), people attend these events at their own risk and the club is not responsible for any issues arising from participation as our 3rd party insurance only covers participation in badminton.
16TH AUGUST - ROUNDERS V NEWPORT TENNIS CLUB
Time 2:45 for 3:00 "bat off"
Behind Lilleshall Sports CentreReception/Cafe
Fundraising for Severn Hospice - No Charge but any cash or card donations ratefully received.
Match in memory of "Big Hitter" Andy Holland.
Cafe/Bar available for post match refreshments.

18TH JULY - ARCHERY AT AUDCO ARCHERY
Brook Farm, Strine, Stafford Rd, Newport TF10 9BY (opposite Aqualate golf centre)

£10 a head
Partners welcome - Dave Gough Organising. Poll on WhatsApp if you wish to come. We usually go for a drink and lite bite afterwards for those that wish to.
11TH JUNE - LADDER FINALS NIGHT
Top 16 knockout
26th March - AGM 2026
This years AGM will be on 26th March in the snug at the Wheatsheaf pub. We will finsh badminton at 9:15 with a view to starting AGM at 9:30. The club will fund Sausage/Chips/Bread!!!
9th April - Ladder Starts
We will be running the first ladder of 2026 - the same format as last year
5th June - 21st Celebration
The club will celebrate its 21st year on 5th June in the "Doghouse" located at the rear of the Phez pub in Newport High Street. The location has its own bar and the club will fund buffet food. Members are welcome to bring their partners. More details to follow.
Rounders - Date coming soon
Annual rounders family game will probably be on a Sunday in June 2026 on the lawn behind Lilleshall Cafe starting at 2:00. Family members welcome. Feel free to bring a picnic. Drinks afterwards in the cafe.
24th September - Chairs Tournament
This will take place on 24th September with trophies and chocolates
2026 Xmas Party being planned
